FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What people ask about Amz Calculus.

How is the US success score calculated?

Amz Calculus gives each product a US success score from 0 to 100. The score comes from evaluating demand forecast, competitive density and the margin–cost model together.

Which data is analysed?

Demand forecast, competitive density, the margin and cost model, keyword opportunities, seasonality and market-gap analysis are used together.

Can you see the reasoning behind a score?

Yes. Every score comes with an explainable rationale — you can see which data pulled it up or down. The decision then rests on a traceable analysis rather than a guess.

Is seasonality taken into account?

Yes, seasonality analysis is one of the components of the score. Demand that rises in particular periods of the year is reflected in the product’s overall assessment.

What is market-gap detection for?

It points to product groups where demand exists but competition is relatively weak. These are the areas with the highest chance of success for a seller entering the market.

Who is Amz Calculus for?

It is designed for companies producing and selling in Türkiye that are considering opening their catalogue to the Amazon US market. Your existing catalogue is scanned and scored to show which products to start with.

Why is there a score specific to the US market?

A product selling in Türkiye does not mean it will sell in the US: competitive density, price bands, shipping costs and seasonality all behave differently. The score computes those differences against one market — “a good product in general” is not a category the marketplace recognises.

Does it give a decision or a recommendation?

A recommendation. It produces scores and forecasts; the decision stays with you. The product exists to lower the cost of entering the wrong product, which is higher than the cost of the analysis.

Is it used together with AMZAIPlus?

The two cover both ends of marketplace operations: Amz Calculus handles the product decision before you sell, AMZAIPlus the price and visibility while you sell. They can also be used separately.
